Fleetguard is not the same as Cummins, but Fleetguard is a Cummins-owned brand. The corporate structure: Cummins Inc. owns Cummins Filtration, and Cummins Filtration manufactures and markets the Fleetguard line of filters. That makes Fleetguard the OEM filter brand for Cummins-equipped trucks. The Fleetguard FF, FS, LF, and AF series part numbers appear on Cummins service kits and dealer parts counters as the manufacturer-recommended filter for ISX, ISX15, X15, ISB6.7, and other current Cummins engines. Aftermarket equivalents from Donaldson, Baldwin, WIX, and others meet the same spec but are not OEM-branded. When a Cummins dealer sells a "Cummins fuel filter," it is almost always a Fleetguard part with a Cummins-stamped box.
