Western Star Filters for 49X, 57X, 5700XE, and 4900
Filtration for the trucks that move what other trucks cannot.
Western Star sells fewer trucks each year than Freightliner sells in a busy month. The brand has never tried to compete on volume. The 49X and 57X (and the 4900 before them) are built for the load nobody else wants: forty tons of green logs out of a logging block in interior British Columbia, a triple-axle dump body running gravel between a quarry and a job site, an oil-field service rig that has not seen pavement in two weeks. The cab is heavier than a Cascadia's. The chassis is heavier than a Cascadia's. The customer paid for the difference on purpose.
Steinberg stocks 30 filter SKUs across Western Star's recent platforms: modern 49X and 57X (Detroit DD13/DD15/DD16 plus Cummins X15 alternates), 5700XE long-haul (FA005-class air filtration, FC001 cabin, full Detroit and Cummins fuel/oil service), and 4900 vocational classics (Cummins ISX and ISB-fit kits for older fleets still in service). Each is cross-referenced to Fleetguard, Donaldson, and Detroit OEM part numbers and ships same-day from Hodgkins, IL. NET-30 terms for qualified fleet accounts.
